What was fun about this shoot was that we went to my high school in Glen Ellyn, IL. Glenbard West is known as a castle on the hill and I felt it was a pretty great outdoor spot considering not only the brick, but the building’s design.

#TBT #throwbackthursday #cosplay - My Age of Apocalypse Rogue from C2E2 2011!

I made everything you see, except the collar. That was a custom sculpt commission I got from Xtreme Design FX
Boots: Snaz75.com
Photography: Leonard Jinto

The wig, was not what I was originally going to wear. Had some complications pop up as I was going to borrow a Rogue wig from a friend. Fell thru last minute, ran to Party City, spray painted dumb white shit on it. That’s my red hair peeking through at the bottom, too.
I’ve always thought about redoing this, since I don’t like how I made this, but, then I decided fuck it. I’ll just do AoA Jean next instead :)

Mike was AoA Magneto with me. I made his costume too and he got a custom collar made as well. The Midwest MacGyver (Costumer) helped with his helmet.

Today’s #mutantmonday features a photographer/model I worked with in 2007! He’s not active in the cosplay scene, but I sure do believe he should be! This is Ken Williams of Processed Pixels in his classic 90’s Bishop costume. In 2007, when I was learning photography and Photoshop, I put together a cosplay project of male models and their costumes for me to shoot. Ken took the initiative to shoot himself in his costume, too, and this shot came out AMAZING. Even to this day, I’m at awe at it. Very impressive.

Alex Ross drew her without the mask, too :) See? Still accurate. Neenerneener!
